It's capital city is Dakar.

It has a population of about 15.4 million people.





Kaldou is a famous Senegalese dish.

Kaldou is fish stew dish.

It is made of fish, tomatoes, eggplants, cassava, onions, carrots, potatoes, green pepper, pepper, garlic, red pepper, lemon juice, sugar, salt and oil.

It is normally served with rice and lemon slices.

It is mostly eaten for lunch.
