It has a population of about 21,500 people.




Ulkoy is a famous Palauan food.

Ulkoy is deep fried fritters.

It is made of flour, shrimp, onions, eggs, butter, milk, Creole seasoning, baking powder, pepper, parsley, squash, salt and oil.

It is normally served with Creole seasoning.

It is mostly eaten for breakfast or as snack food.

Tama is crispy sweet croquettes.

It is made of flour, eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar, baking powder, salt and oil.

It is prepared by mixing all the ingredients to create a dough which is then separated and fried until golden brown.

It is mostly eaten for breakfast or as snack food.
